These earrings are made with polyester thread and white seed beads. The ribbon is made with a technique called needle lace that is known in Turkey as “oya”. It is a very traditional way to embellish scarves and make doilies. Women used to tell their love with “oya”. I transformed it into jewelry and created these beautiful earrings. They are on the point where tradition and trend meets.
